Documentation for Exports Outside Europe

1. We require a copy of your passport (Page with photo and passport number will suffice), if your belongings contain personal effects belonging to someone else, we also require a copy of their passport (Page with photo and passport number will suffice)
2. If a work VISA is required for your destination, then please forward us a copy of this, as we will require it for customs clearance at destination along with the VISA's of anybody else who has personal effects in the shipment if applicable.
3. Restricted and Prohibited Items: Click here for items that are either restricted or prohibited for most countries
4. Shipping Label, please download, complete and completely cover with clear tape and safely attach to the boxes - click here to download shipping label
5. Packing Inventory: Shipping office will advise at time of booking whether you are to use "Type 1" or "Type 2" packing Inventory.  When completing  "Type 1" - General description will do, jeans, jumpers, shoes......etc  You DO NOT need to count the individual items. Do not use words like "miscellaneous items" or "bits and pieces" . "Type 2" inventory you will need to put Jeans......100 Euro's, Jumpers.......150 Euro's, Shoes.........120 Euro's, Do not put two heading's together like Jeans/Jumpers.........250 euro's, Keep them separate. Do not use words like "miscellaneous items" every heading on this inventory needs to be clear, concise and to the point.  Also on this Inventory everything has to have a value even your own private papers , you would put "Papers................2 Euro's or "Documents...........2 Euro's. Finally you DO NOT need to count the individual items or show how you arrived at that value but leave out all medicines and toiletries in your shipment when using "Type 2" packing Inventory.

6. Insurance packing Inventory, same as packing Inventory "Type 1" except this time it has values, If you are taking out insurance with us and you have completed "Type 2" packing inventory, you do not need to complete this packing Inventory as well, as the values you have declared on the "Type 2" packing Inventory will serve for Insurance purposes.  Click here to download Insurance packing Inventory only if taking out Insurance subject to terms and Conditions of the Insurance policy.

11. For some destinations, we will require evidence of living in Ireland for more than 12 months like a utility bill, also evidence of taking up residence in your new country like lease for your new apartment or new phone contract details.
12. A copy of your own flight agenda may also be required depending on your destination

 IMPORTANT :

All documentation, should be placed in an envelope marked "Shipping Papers Do Not Remove" and attached safely to box Number 1 for return with the shipment. Note if you are taking Insurance with us, an email should be sent to "Sales@ShippingExcessBaggage.com" advising us in euro's the values for your shipment the day prior to your collection date.

Documentation required for imports into Ireland from Outside Europe :

1) Check Number 3 at top of this page for list of items that are restricted or prohibited from shipping

2) Download shipping labels, see Number 4 at top of this page and ensure all packages are numbered and addressed.

3) Copy of passport (Page with photo and passport number will suffice) of everybody who has personal effects in the shipment.

4) Evidence of Living abroad for more than 12 months, like utility bill, bank statement, work contract...etc 

5) Evidence of taking up residence in Ireland like apartment lease, evidence of purchasing a property,  work contract...etc...

6) Down load Packing Inventory "Type 1"  and complete, see Number 5 at top of page above

7) Download Insurance packing Inventory only if taking out Insurance, see Number 6 at top of page above, Terms and Conditions apply.

8) Irish customs form which should be down loaded and completed, see Number 13 at top of page  above.
